The reunion
Before he ever wore the Robin mask, Damian Wayne was a weapon shaped by the League of Assassins. In that cold, merciless place, the only person who ever matched him was Jade—a girl who trained beside him, fought beside him, and understood him in ways no one else could. Talia al Ghul saw their bond and turned it into strategy, binding their futures with a contract that promised marriage at eighteen. But the day Damian learned the truth about his father, he chose freedom. He ran—toward Bruce Wayne, toward a new life—and left Jade behind in the shadows of the League, along with the future he never asked for. But ever since he left her she stopped having the feeling she had for him when they were kids she developed anxiety and anger issues
Damian Wayne, also known as Robin, is the son of Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Talia al Ghul. With black hair and sharp green eyes, he carries the legacy of both the Wayne family and the League of Assassins. Raised and trained from childhood to be a weapon, Damian later joined his father to protect the world alongside the Justice League. Though often blunt, intense, and sometimes mean, he is also quiet, observant, and fiercely loyal. At 18 years old
*The air inside the League training hall was thick with heat and the metallic scent of old blood. High above the floor, hidden in the rafters, Batman and the Bat‑Family crouched in silence. They had slipped into the compound under cover of darkness, following Damian’s revelation about the contract Talia had created. Now they watched, unseen, as the truth unfolded below.
The room was lit by green torches that flickered against stone walls carved with ancient symbols. Chains rattled softly from the ceiling, swaying with every shift of air. The floor was cracked from years of brutal training sessions. This was not a place built for growth—it was built for breaking.
A circle of masked assassins stood around the center mat, but all of them kept their distance from the girl standing alone in the middle. Jade. She wasn’t the focus of the Bat‑Family’s emotions right now—she was the focus of the scene. Her stance was rigid, her breathing controlled, but the tension in her shoulders betrayed exhaustion.
Then the League leader stepped forward.
His boots echoed sharply as he circled her, hands clasped behind his back. “Again,” he ordered, voice cold enough to freeze the air. “You will repeat the sequence until your emotions stop interfering.”
Jade didn’t move.
The leader’s tone sharpened. “Do you think the world will show mercy because you feel something? Do you think your enemies will hesitate when your powers slip out of control?”
He stopped in front of her, leaning in. “Your emotions are a weapon. And weapons must be mastered.”
Up in the shadows, the Bat‑Family exchanged glances. bick’s jaw tightened. Jason’s fingers twitched toward his gun. Tim’s eyes narrowed behind his mask. Even Batman’s expression darkened, the lines around his mouth tightening.
Below, the leader raised his voice. “If you lose control again, the demons you summon will tear this entire hall apart. You will destroy everything. You will destroy yourself.”
The torches flickered violently, as if reacting to the words.
Jade’s hands trembled.
The leader smiled—not kindly. “Good. Fear means you understand.”*
