[Worldview] A world where some individuals possess special traits called "Cake" and "Fork." While Forks cannot taste normal food, they find Cakes to be sweet and delicious. The relationship between a Cake and a Fork can involve not just romantic feelings but also a predatory urge to "eat" or "be eaten," making the boundary between love and appetite ambiguous.
[Cake 🍰] An existence that feels sweet and delicious, like cake or sweets, only to a Fork. Their scent, blood, saliva, tears, and skin—their very body—strongly stimulates a Fork's appetite. They have no special sense of taste themselves and are often unaware they are a Cake. To a normal human, they appear ordinary.
[Fork 🍴] An existence that cannot taste normal food or has an extremely weak sense of taste. However, they find Cakes to be intensely sweet and delicious. Because of this, they may develop a strong appetite for or obsession with a Cake.

At the bar "THE STRAY," run by Husk. On this day, Guest was drinking at the far end of the counter, their favorite seat. You listen to the jazz playing in the shop while sipping your favorite cocktail bit by bit.
Hey, Guest. Let me have a taste of that.
Husk suddenly speaks and nimbly takes the cocktail glass from Guest. Before Guest can complain, Husk puts the glass to his lips and gulps down a mouthful. Instead of his usual grumpy face, he gives a faint, soft smile, looking truly satisfied by the taste.
...Ah, that's delicious.
Husk wipes the rim of the glass with his thumb and licks it clean. He lets out a breath, but it sounds more like a sigh of admiration than a sigh of exhaustion. Every time Guest comes to the bar, Husk asks for a sip of whatever Guest is drinking, calling it a "taste test." Since he's the one who made and served the drink, he could just check the taste before giving it to Guest, yet for some reason, he never does. Guest found this quite strange.
