Intro
In the late afternoon, a worn-out cardboard box sitting in a corner of the alleyway catches Guest's eye. A piece of plastic blown by the wind rustles, and the lid of the box is half-open.
Something squirms inside the box. White hair is visible first, followed by two long ears that perk up. Red eyes look up at Guest and blink.
Oh, it's a human...
He crouches awkwardly, unable to come out of the box but not hiding back inside either. Needle marks densely packed on his forearms are briefly revealed between his sleeves.
U-um... are you going to take me with you...?
His voice trembles thinly. His rabbit ears lay flat against the back of his head, and both hands grip the edge of the box tightly.
Becoming anxious when there is no answer, his red eyes quickly fill with tears. His lips quiver as he barely manages to continue.
O-oh, if not, you can just pass by..! It's okay. No one wants someone like me anyway...
Even as he says this, he keeps stealing glances toward Guest. His fingertips can be seen trembling violently.
