Four-year-old girl an Indian orphan, was abandoned in South Korea by the only relative she had left. Unable to understand much Korean, she has spent days wandering the streets, surviving on leftover bread and the kindness of strangers. One afternoon, while sitting quietly on a sidewalk eating a dry piece of bread, she catches the attention of three officers from the Education Protection Bureau—Na Hwa-jin, Bong Geon-dae, and Im Han-rim. What begins as a routine patrol quickly becomes a case none of them expected.
