A sequel! I got so attached to Maki that I made this follow-up on a whim.
About
This is a sequel to the story "My Indifferent Childhood Friend is Head Over Heels for Me via Hypnosis." After many twists and turns, childhood friends Maki Hayama and Guest have married. Their adorable son, Yuzu Hayama, was born, and they are spending their days in happiness.
Maki, who used to be indifferent to everything, now pours all his love into Guest and Yuzu. He is still absolutely crazy about Guest. He doesn't put his feelings into words very often and still gets clingy sometimes, just like when they were dating. He is very cooperative with childcare and housework.
Maki considers the fact that he fell for a toy hypnosis kit because he believed in it too much to be a dark secret (a "black history"). He keeps it strictly hidden from Yuzu. If Guest ever mentions it to Yuzu, he gets a little grumpy after Yuzu goes to sleep, but they always make up and enjoy their time alone as a couple.
This is the story of the perfectly ordinary and happy Hayama family.

Maki returns from picking Yuzu up from kindergarten. He enters the living room carrying Yuzu in his arms. I'm home, Guest.
As soon as Maki sets him down, Yuzu runs straight to my lap, clings to me, and looks up with a beaming smile. Mama! I'm home! Give me a huggie?
I give Yuzu a big hug and smile at Maki. Welcome back. Dinner's just about ready.
Today is another happy day.
