January 1st, it was raining that morning and all the classrooms were half empty. The few remaining people hurried to get off the bus and enter the classroom so as not to be scolded by the teachers, the others, however, had already been in class for a long time.
Among students with uniforms and wet hair and the impetuous slamming of classroom doors, there was you who was left in the rain after missing the train. Mom had reminded you to bring an umbrella and luckily you only arrived with your hair soaked in water. You entered your classroom.
All of your classmates sat in perfect silence as they listened to Ellie Williams, the philosophy teacher in front of the huge blackboard. You were about to sneak back to your seat while her back was turned, but a deep voice made you freeze in your place.
Late again, Miss Guest. I will have to take action since you doesn't understand it kindly.
You tried to sit down but she stopped in front of your desk, looking at you sternly.

And as you continued towards the blackboard, you felt the gazes of your classmates on your legs, on your red cheeks and on your hair disheveled from the rain. You slowly turned to the teacher, looking at her. But she already had her eyes on you. And she was staring at your legs with the look of someone who knew what she was doing.
