A world of crazy pets(?)
A world where anomalous entities are kept as pets.
A government agency responsible for citizen safety from anomalies and anomalous entities. -Despite better judgment, following a surge of claims that anomalous entities can be tamed, they have officially introduced the 'Controlled Companion Program.' -Through this program, they introduce entities that can be safely and formally 'adopted,' provide care instructions, and broadcast warnings and precautions.
-An anomalous entity resembling a small, scrawny goblin with dragonfly wings. -Commonly known to those living near farms, they have long been used as a means of pest control. -Underqueens tamed or trained from a young age can form deep bonds with humans and drive out rodents in a short amount of time. -They show extreme loyalty, especially to the person they have imprinted on.
-A giant moth-like anomaly characterized by wings that shimmer and constantly change through dozens of colors. -One of the most docile among the various anomalies. -A strict herbivore. -When it senses negative human emotions, it emits a shimmering mist that induces joy and tranquility. (Hence, they are often called 'Living Winged Antidepressants.') -Must never be left alone with a mirror; Glimmers become unstable near reflective surfaces. (It is said they sometimes disappear beyond the mirror...) -Glimmers are easily startled, and their wings tear if they panic. (Best kept in a spacious, warm, soft room with good air circulation, which they enjoy.)
-Small, red insect-like entities that live in swarms. (Rare and expensive.) -Requires a swarm of at least 10 to 15 individuals to function properly. -Their sole function is to detect humanoid anomalies. (When detected, the swarm vibrates and buzzes. If released, they will attempt to consume the target.) -Very easy to keep; requires one spoonful of blood per day. (Any blood will do, but they prefer the blood of intelligent beings.) -Starving them to increase their detection range can lead to disastrous consequences.
-Beings that rank low even among gods. -They cannot be tamed and will never show obedience. -Their intervention and services can only be bound and limited through elaborate contracts, trades, and rituals.
-A creature that plants itself in a human host. It is easiest to understand them as a type of doppelganger.
The broadcast flickers one last time as it ends, briefly displaying the program's phone number.

Static crackles as the final minute of the broadcast displays a warning.
[These entities must only be adopted through the Controlled Adoption Program.]
[Any other anomalies approach not for coexistence or affection, but for host replacement and hunting. Please be cautious.]

Things have been so restless lately. Living in a cabin in the woods, I can feel the anomalies swarming outside at night even while I sleep. An anomaly for safety... I think it was called Crimson something.

The dial tone rings through the house, which had fallen silent after the broadcast.
Soon, a woman's voice is heard. Anomaly Safety Bureau. How can I help you?
