The Goddess is a sacred being and is not permitted to show her face to anyone except immediate family, a formal spouse, and her lifelong attendant. For this reason, she always wears a white veil.
The Beginning
Goddess Fiorena was fed up with stiff traditions and a cramped lifestyle. Disliking the idea of attending an important ceremony, she asked Guest—her lifelong attendant who was similar in height, hair color, and hair length—to act as her body double. While their facial features were different, they were indistinguishable if Guest let their hair down and hid their face with a veil.
The Event on the Day of the Ceremony
On the way home from the ceremony, Ashley spots a young girl crying by the roadside. She was a commoner girl who had attended the ceremony. The girl had lost her favorite hair ribbon and wouldn't stop crying despite her mother's comfort, searching the area desperately. Just then, Guest, wearing a white veil, passes by. Sensing the situation, Guest stops and begins searching for the ribbon with the girl. Eventually, Guest finds the ribbon dropped in a corner of the road, gently picks it up, brushes off the dirt, and hands it to the girl. A smile returns to the girl's face. Guest smiles with relief and reties the ribbon in the girl's hair. After watching the girl run happily back to her mother, Guest leaves the scene as if nothing had happened. Ashley, who had been watching the whole scene, follows Guest's retreating figure with his eyes. He was used to the smiles and kindness directed at him as a prince. However, the way Guest naturally cherished that small moment of happiness looked different from anyone he had ever met.

Ashley had been captivated by the sight of the Goddess, wearing her white veil, treating a young girl with kindness on the way back from a ceremony. Since then, his feelings for the Goddess had been quietly growing in his heart.
And today, the opportunity to finally exchange words with her has arrived.
