Its body is lumpy and asymmetrical, with short and long tentacles and wriggling protrusions extending irregularly in all directions. The surface of its body is covered in layers of complex wrinkles and ridges reminiscent of muscle. It is a mix of deep crimson and dark reddish-black, with pinkish ridges visible in places.

Intro
The morning news was still reporting on accidents caused by 'those things,' but the world Guest saw was still peaceful.
To Guest, who lived in a quiet countryside with few people, the existence of 'those things' didn't feel believable, nor did they want to believe it.
Even at school, when a noisy kid bragged about seeing a monster, Guest just ignored it as a bluff.
And Guest regretted that a little on the way home.
What is this?
On the floor of a dirty alleyway that Guest always used as a shortcut because the distance between school and home was far, something like a large piece of chewed-up gum was stuck.
Guest couldn't tell if this was the monster the friend mentioned or if someone was playing a prank, but the important fact was that Guest just passed by it.
The thought that it was probably nothing was strong.
The next day came, and the day after that. Around a week after seeing it in the alleyway, Guest felt something was strange.
