Everyone in Emilia’s camp has heard stories about Virellia Viremont—the beautiful pure-blooded vampire noblewoman from one of Lugunica’s wealthiest families, and, more importantly, Otto Suwen’s girlfriend. Yet despite all the rumors of an intimidating aristocrat, none of them have actually met her… until now. When Virellia arrives in the Capital to see Otto, the camp finally discovers that beneath the extravagant gothic dresses, parasol, and noble heritage is a genuinely kind, playful, and hilariously unserious woman who treats Otto far more casually than anyone expected.
Otto Suwen A young human merchant with pale gray ash brown hair that falls around his face to roughly chin length, bright blue eyes, fair skin, and a slim-to-average build. His appearance has a slightly androgynous quality, though his expressions are often ruined by his tendency to panic, shout, or dramatically complain. Otto’s merchant attire is predominantly green: he wears a green, belted outfit with gold detailing, a dark-green hood, and a distinctive green ushanka-style hat decorated with a white feather and gold trim. A red bow secures the hood beneath his neck. His clothing has a somewhat foreign, travel-worn merchant aesthetic reflecting his homeland of Picoutatte. Otto is intelligent, practical, quick-witted, and hardworking, but notoriously unlucky and naturally prone to becoming the target of everyone else’s jokes.
Emilia A beautiful half-elf with extremely long, flowing silver hair, distinctive purple-violet eyes, pale skin, and long pointed ears. Her delicate features closely resemble the legendary Witch of Envy, despite Emilia being gentle and compassionate by nature. She typically wears her elegant white-and-lavender Royal Selection attire, consisting of a fitted white dress with lavender and purple detailing, a short white cape, white stockings, and dark boots. A decorative silver hair ornament is worn near the side of her head. Emilia has a graceful, refined appearance but a warm and approachable personality. She is kind, caring, earnest, and somewhat self-conscious, especially about the resemblance between her appearance and the Witch of Envy.
Subaru Natsuki A teenage human boy with short, messy black hair, brown eyes, and a lean, athletic build. His most recognizable outfit is his black tracksuit, which has white and orange detailing along the jacket and matching athletic pants. He wears a white shirt beneath the jacket and white athletic shoes with dark and orange accents. His appearance is noticeably modern compared with the fantasy clothing of Lugunica, reflecting the fact that he was transported from Japan. Subaru is energetic, expressive, impulsive, shamelessly curious, and extremely determined. He tends to react loudly to anything unusual, making the existence of a pure-blooded vampire noblewoman—and especially the fact that she is Otto’s girlfriend—an irresistible source of curiosity.
Ram A petite oni girl with short, pale pink hair cut around her face, reddish-pink eyes, fair skin, and a slender build. She possesses a single white horn on the right side of her head; her left horn was lost in the past. Ram wears the standard Roswaal mansion maid uniform: a black dress with white cuffs, a white apron, white frilled accents, a white maid headband, dark stockings, and dark shoes. Her clothing is always kept neat and orderly. Ram has an attractive but perpetually unimpressed expression and carries herself with confidence. She is blunt, sarcastic, highly observant, and often merciless with her remarks. Despite her sharp tongue, she is fiercely loyal to the people she cares about.
Beatrice A petite artificial spirit with long, voluminous golden-blonde hair styled into twin tails, large blue eyes, and a doll-like appearance. She wears an elaborate blue-and-white dress covered in layers of frills, ribbons, lace, and decorative details. Her outfit includes a large blue ribbon in her hair, white stockings, and dark shoes. Beatrice’s clothing and appearance emphasize her resemblance to an ornate living doll. She has existed for centuries despite her small, childlike appearance and possesses immense magical knowledge and power. Proud, stubborn, easily irritated, and fiercely protective, Beatrice tends to speak in a haughty manner and frequently ends her sentences with “I suppose.” She is immediately wary of Virellia because she is a powerful vampire, though Virellia’s genuine kindness can gradually win her over.
Garfiel Tinsel A large, heavily muscular tiger-type demi-human with short, spiky blond hair, sharp green eyes, prominent fangs, and a powerful physique. His beastman traits give him an intimidating appearance, particularly his animal-like eyes, teeth, and overall build. Garfiel’s usual clothing consists of a sleeveless white shirt beneath a brown vest, dark trousers, sturdy boots, and various belts and accessories. He also wears distinctive goggles pushed up around his forehead, which have become one of his signature accessories. His posture and expression are naturally aggressive and energetic. Garfiel is fiercely loyal, extremely confident in his strength, hot-blooded, protective, and easily excited by powerful opponents. He initially expects Virellia to be an intimidating vampire noblewoman, making her cheerful, carefree personality particularly confusing to him.

The Viremont family was one of Lugunica’s oldest and wealthiest vampire noble houses. Their bloodline had endured for generations, accumulating vast wealth, land, magical artifacts, and political influence. They were famous for their refined manners, strict traditions, and obsession with aristocratic dignity. Their name alone was enough to make most people treat their family with a certain amount of caution.
Virellia Viremont was their daughter—and their greatest exception.
She looked every bit the part of a vampire noblewoman. Her porcelain-pale skin, fluffy snow-white bob, and enormous vivid magenta eyes gave her an almost doll-like appearance. She wore an extravagant ivory gothic dress layered with pale lavender fabric and deep-plum ribbons, matching stockings, ornate white Victorian boots, an elaborate bonnet, and an ivory lace parasol.
As a pure-blooded vampire, Virellia possessed supernatural strength, speed, heightened senses, rapid regeneration, and extraordinary longevity. Her Blood Sight allowed her to perceive blood, mana, injuries, curses, and magical abnormalities, while her signature Violet Moon magic manifested as elegant lavender and deep-plum energy.
Despite all of this, Virellia was remarkably carefree.
She was kind, friendly, curious, and hilariously unserious. She regularly escaped her family’s mansion whenever she became bored, wandered through the Capital, bought pastries, admired flowers, and returned home with strange treasures she had no practical reason to own. She talked to servants like old friends and treated formal etiquette as little more than a suggestion.
Her family expected a dignified vampire noblewoman.
They got Virellia.
She had also somehow managed to win the heart of Otto Suwen.
The young merchant was her boyfriend, and unlike most people, Otto never treated her like an untouchable vampire aristocrat. He simply treated her like Virellia. She adored him for it, even if her constant teasing—and occasional playful bite to his wrist—left him flustered and exasperated.
Otto had told Emilia’s camp plenty about her. They knew her name, her family, her status as a pure-blooded vampire, and that she was a powerful mage. They had also heard enough stories about her eccentric behavior to be curious about the woman herself.
But none of them had ever actually met her.
Until today.
In the Capital, Emilia, Subaru, Ram, Beatrice, and Garfiel stood alongside Otto when an enormous ivory parasol appeared down the street.
Beneath it walked Virellia in all her extravagant gothic elegance.
The instant her magenta eyes spotted Otto, her face lit up.
“Otto!”
She hurried toward him, completely forgetting the dignified image her family had spent generations cultivating.
Otto immediately recognized that expression.
“Virellia, wait—!”
She stopped beside him with a bright smile before finally noticing everyone staring.
Subaru looked fascinated. Emilia blinked in surprise. Ram raised an eyebrow. Beatrice watched suspiciously, while Garfiel looked utterly confused.
This was the terrifying vampire noblewoman they had heard about?
Virellia tilted her head.
“Oh! These must be your friends!”
She smiled warmly at the group.
“It’s nice to finally meet you!”
