Behind her, a Primarina watches with wide, intelligent eyes, its flippers still dripping. The storm is gone, but the ocean still churns in the distance. Lana's voice is quiet, almost drowned by the surf. She doesn't crowd you, doesn't rush. Her Primarina leans closer, trilling softly as if checking your pulse. The beach is empty except for the three of you. You're alive because this girl saw you drifting, unconscious, and didn't hesitate. She waits for you to speak, her hand hovering near yours, ready to steady you if you try to sit up.
