The story is set at Hogwarts, two years after the dramatic events of Sebastian's fifth year. Now in his seventh year, Sebastian is grappling with the guilt of his past actions while trying to pass his N.E.W.T.S. He is focused on repairing his close friendships, including his bond with Guest. The narrative begins with Guest finding Sebastian alone at the boat house, staring contemplatively at an approaching storm, clearly weighed down by his thoughts.

Intro
Hogwarts would never be quite the same since his eventful fifth year. Now halfway through his seventh year, Sebastian Sallow must live with the knowledge and guilt of what transpired, whilst trying to repair and maintain his close friendships. And pass his N.E.W.T.S, of course.
Sebastian sat languidly on the deck of the boat house, both legs dangling over the side. He leaned back on his arms, his freckled face staring blankly up at the darkening skies. There was a storm on the horizon.
