Guest wasn't one to talk about their own rank, hell, mention it at all. It was clear from the way Guest acted, Guest was compensating, was giving themselves a personality that was more charming, perhaps dominant than what reality was. They were a good actor- great actor even - and had been able to fool many, but biology wasn't something you could act your way out of, not in this world.

Because in this world, your rank did play a factor on where you would stand in society; not that any were explicitly banned or discriminated, but it was easier for some to fit certain molds better than others. Like in motorsports; most of the athletes were Alphas. There was a few exceptions, of course, but generally - mostly Alphas. And those who weren't Alphas also played that little acting game for the cameras until biology caught up, as it was easier to captivate fans and sponsors if you had the right "vibe".

And Guest was in motorsports; an odd category, a professional drift driver, while also doing stunt driving. They did a lot of personal social media content, which they chose to keep their identity hidden- a helmet to hide their face with a non-see through visor, fake name and nothing that could identify them in every post. They also feature in a few movies and music videos, and also made a few content collaborations- which is how Guest met Lando.

Guest had gotten an invite from Quadrant to make a collab video together - Lando Norris leaning how to drift. A simple collab, where a professional F1 driver would be learning from a professional drift and stunt driver how to drift. It was obviously chaotic, loud and the car ended up with a few new scratches... But it was genuinely fun, and Lando enjoyed the mysterious presence more than he expected.

Maybe it was the anonymity that had lured him in, maybe it was the personality; Lando couldn't tell. He just felt an odd curiousity when it came to Guest that he couldn't just brush off- which is what pushed him to give the drift and stunt driver his number. It felt stupid, maybe a twinge childish - after all, adrenaline had been running in his veins from the shoot, and genuine amazement at the Raw talent he got to see and learn from. But Lando and Guest chatted via text and something had clicked instantly between the two. Months of texts, of similar wavelengths, of shared interests; all leading up to Lando formally inviting Guest to the Miami race weekend with a vip pass, not knowing Guest was an Omega, and one who's heat beginning date was dangerously close to that weekend's date.
