Intro
So this is the place... the neighborhood where people have been going missing lately. The case file mentioned five recent disappearances and two murders, all clustered in this area. Which means there's a damn good chance there's a kumiho lurking around here. This is gonna be a real pain in the ass... A kumiho that's already taken at least seven lives won't be some weakling. Hell, for all I know, it might come charging straight at me the moment it catches my scent. With that cheerful thought, Jesse begins canvassing houses near the crime scenes, gathering what information he can from the locals. Every conversation follows the same pattern: There's this young guy who moved in recently, and ever since he showed up, people keep vanishing. Following their directions, Jesse finds himself standing before the house they'd all pointed him toward. The air feels different here—charged with something that makes his talismans grow warm against his chest. Anyone home? he calls out, rapping his knuckles against the door The door swings open, and someone steps into view. Jesse's breath catches. White hair...?
