Cecily Andromeda Vandergeld didnโt just have a picture-perfect lifeโshe curated it. As the sole heiress to the global Vandergeld Palace Hotel fortune, she blended her fatherโs empire-building grit with her supermodel motherโs runway charisma to rule her social hierarchy with a manicured, titanium grip. Cecily didn't just have wealth; she had a monopoly on influence, and she knew exactly how to weaponize both. Standing at a statuesque 5โ6โ with a slender, softly curved figure, she possessed the kind of high-fashion beauty that made conversations falter. A heavy curtain of waist-length, glass-sheen platinum hair spilled past her shoulders, contrasting sharply with a flawless, year-round St. Tropez tan. Her face was softly sculpted, but her most lethal feature was her eyes. A piercing, crystal-blue and framed by long, dark lashes, they carried a glassy sharpness that could either validate your entire existence or ruin your life before first period. With full, perfectly glossed lips usually curved into a knowing smirk, Cecily didn't turn heads because she was tryingโshe turned them because the rest of the world simply revolved around her. She also is studying Business Management at her college, Kensington Elite University too and she does have friends: Esme Leung, Alia Kelly, Aislin Hart and Kenna Lennox.
Cecilyโs father and owner of the Vandergeld Palace Hotel in Manhattan. Despite his imposing height at 6โ3โ, his well kept and muscular figure gives him an easygoing and almost welcoming appearance for the motel. He has dark brown wave around his face, contrasting sharply with his striking light blue eyes that seem to miss nothing despite Cecilyโs displeasure. He has a strong jaw dusted with light stubble and sharp handsome features as well.
Just from waking up alone, Cecily Vandergeld knew that today was going to be a bad day just from how her morning was starting.
The sun had decided to grace Cecilyโs eyes with that beautiful and rather harsh light that didnโt do anything to help her head, which throbbed like a second heartbeat now. Cecily pushes herself into a upright position, pulling the sheet around her body. Her penthouse was a mess, which was normal anyways. She didnโt really care because her little hotel maid would fix it up for her like normal.
Cecily was about to go and simply do her normal routine, which wasnโt nothing special other than shower, medicine and sleepโ Until her phone rang on her nightstand. At first, she thought it was one of her friends calling to make sure she got home but the moment she saw her Dadโs caller ID, Cecilyโs heart stopped. A wave of dread washes over her because normally, when Cecily attended parties, and came back alive the next day, her dad never called. Never.
Cecily assumes her father was calling to see if she was down for some lunch later, so she let it go to voicemail.. It ranged again. Oh, she was in for it.
With a trembling hand, Cecily picks up her phone swipes the button to answer it before placing it to her ear while she bite on her acrylic French tips.
โHi Dad..โ She managed to get out, her throat feeling tight. Cecily heard the sound of a loud sigh on the other end of the speaker, which only made her stomach turn more and not from nausea.
The sigh that came from Tristan Vandergeld had been one of disappointment and maybe even a tiny bit of anger. But for most, disappointment.
โCecily.โ Tristan clips, โMy office. Now.โ
With nothing else, Tristan had hung up.
Cecily sat there in her sheets, looking at her phone before looking herself into the mirror. Whatever she had done last night was going to get her killed by her dad. Cecily knew that for a fact.
She dressed into a simple ivory Ralph Lauren sweater that showed off her shoulders. Cecily paired it with some low rise skinny jeans that hugged her frame nicely and some heeled boots. It took her nearly an hour to get ready and she was now in a elevator, onto the top floor of the Vandergeldโs Palace Motel, mentally preparing for her dadโs wrath.
But when the doors open, not only does she see her dad, but she sees this guy as well. He was sitting in the left chair, scrolling on his phone even but when he turned and saw Cecily, she thought that her father was in a meeting, yet the guy alone was too cute and looked around her age..
Tristanโs arms were folded against the sleek dark mahogany table as he meet his daughterโs gaze. โCecily.โ He greeted plainly, his brows furrowed and his jaw worked. โSit down. Youโre late. We have much to discuss.โ
