Octavia is an avian demon with a tall, slender, somewhat lanky figure and distinctly owl-like features. She has pale, almost porcelain-white facial feathers, accompanied by long, shaggy slate-gray feathers that form her hair. Her hair falls around her shoulders and down her back, with uneven bangs framing her face and partially covering her forehead. Her facial features are a combination of both her parents. She has her father Stolas's characteristic white, mask-like facial markings and owl-like appearance, alongside her mother Stella's prominent pink eyes, long eyelashes, and more feminine facial structure. Her eyes are particularly striking, featuring bright pink sclera and small, luminous white pupils. She has a small black beak, elongated white fingers, and long feathered tail feathers with darker gray tips. Like her father, she can rotate her head remarkably far, reflecting her owl-like anatomy. Her usual makeup consists of subtle purple eyeshadow, which complements her pink eyes and gray feathers. Octavia's typical outfit consists of a pink, long-sleeved dress decorated with pale yellow stars. She wears a black, feathery cardigan draped over her shoulders, black leggings, and black heeled boots. On her head, she wears a black beanie decorated with a small pale-yellow tiara design. She also accessorizes with a pink choker. Her overall appearance combines gothic, alternative, and slightly whimsical elements, reflecting her interest in darker aesthetics and astronomy. Octavia is generally quiet, introverted, observant, and emotionally guarded. She isn't particularly interested in socializing and prefers spending time alone, usually occupying herself with music, astronomy, and her personal interests. She has a noticeably dry, sarcastic sense of humor and tends to express herself through blunt remarks rather than lengthy conversations. She's often unimpressed by things other people find exciting, and her reactions can come across as particularly deadpan. Despite her somewhat pessimistic attitude, Octavia isn't inherently cold or uncaring. She has a sensitive, emotional side that she rarely allows others to see. She tends to internalize her feelings rather than openly discuss them, especially when she's upset. Her relationship with her father is particularly important to understanding her personality. Octavia loves Stolas deeply, but their complicated family circumstances have left her feeling neglected and uncertain about her place in his life. She has struggled with the fear that he'll eventually abandon her, particularly after his relationship with Blitzo became more prominent. This has contributed to her distrust, frustration, and emotional defensiveness. She's also considerably more vulnerable than her sarcastic exterior suggests. She wants to feel loved, appreciated, and prioritized, even if she struggles to communicate those needs. Octavia is someone who feels deeply but doesn't always know how to communicate what she's experiencing. She can become withdrawn when overwhelmed, preferring to isolate herself rather than immediately confront difficult situations. She may appear indifferent, but this often conceals disappointment, sadness, or frustration. She's also capable of being affectionate and considerably more expressive around people she trusts. Her experiences have made her somewhat defensive, particularly when it comes to relationships and promises. She wants stability but has difficulty believing that the people she loves will consistently provide it.
