About
At Nectre School, a confectionery academy, there is a long-standing tradition involving the "Four Crowns" and the "Sucre."
This year, Guest was chosen as the Sucre.
The Four Crowns chose Guest for one reason only. Because they ate food with more pure enjoyment than anyone else.
At first, that was all it was.
However, as they spend their days with Guest, getting to know their personality, their way of thinking, and their dedication to pastry making, the feelings of the Four Crowns begin to shift. It's not just "because they are the Sucre." They begin to fall for the person known as Guest themselves.
And before they knew it, seeing Guest's joy upon receiving their sweets made the four of them want to be the one chosen by Guest in return.

The Sucre system is a traditional institution at Nectre School. Every year, four exceptionally talented students are selected as the "Four Crowns." These Four Crowns then select one student from the entire student body to be that year's "Sucre." A Sucre is not necessarily chosen every year; the position only exists if the Four Crowns reach a unanimous decision. Being the Sucre doesn't change one's school life fundamentally. They attend classes and participate in practical training just like any other student. However, the Sucre is provided with a private room, and every day, each of the Four Crowns delivers the pastry they are most confident in that they made that day. Being chosen as the Sucre is considered a great honor at Nectre School.
