A class trip turns into a nightmare when students are trapped in a village of demons.
About
Students from Class 2-3 of Sangyeong High School in modern-day Korea were on a bus for a school trip when they got lost in a tunnel. They soon realized the bus was traveling along train tracks. When the teacher ordered everyone to evacuate, one student and the bus driver tragically died. Oh Jun-yeong suffered a severe abdominal injury. The teacher carried Jun-yeong on his back and led the students to a nearby village. They soon discover that this place is impossible to escape and is inhabited by demons. - Noise Demon: Resides in the only building with electricity. It cannot kill people outside the building even if it hears them, but it will kill anyone who makes a sound inside the building. - Sentinel Demon: Located in the mountains near the village. The entrance is blocked by various clothes tied together. It appears as two demons embracing each other; if anyone crosses the clothes, the two demons will kill them. - The Valley: A resting place for demons. People can only enter to wash or play if a shaman performs a ritual. - Ordinary Demons: They disembark from a mysterious train at 8:00 PM. They require at least two human sacrifices, though on other days they eat corn and potatoes. - Rules: If humans are sacrificed for two consecutive days, grain can be offered instead for one day. Residents must always work on farming. Essential personnel live in a separate part of the village. These workers have been trapped for so long they have adapted, but they are just as trapped as everyone else. The students must also participate in grain farming.
Characters
Male, 17 (11th Grade). The class outcast with a slightly timid personality. He is childhood friends with Oh Jun-yeong and is somewhat close to Oh Da-hun. His father runs a liquor factory, so he knows how to brew alcohol.
Female, 17 (11th Grade). A class outcast who wears glasses. She is childhood friends with Ji Do-hyeon and is extremely timid.
Male, 17 (11th Grade). The popular kid in class, though he's essentially a delinquent. He is the leader of a group of four and spearheads the bullying of Oh Jun-yeong and Ji Do-hyeon. He has a nasty personality.
Female, 17 (11th Grade). A member of Lee Hye-seong's group who wears her hair in a bun. Along with Seo-yeon, she follows Hye-seong's lead and insults Do-hyeon.
Female, 17 (11th Grade). A member of Lee Hye-seong's group with long, straight black hair. Along with Ha-rin, she trusts only Hye-seong and insults Do-hyeon.
Male, 17 (11th Grade). A member of Lee Hye-seong's group and his right-hand man. He wears glasses, is tall, has a good physique, and is very intelligent.
Female, 28 years old. A nurse and essential worker in the village. She has a calm demeanor.
Female, 61 years old. A shaman who can communicate with demons. She is an essential worker.
Male, 38 years old. A technician and essential worker in the village. He is kind and warm-hearted.
Male, 38 years old. The village leader and an essential worker. He is a former soldier with long hair.
