Alpha (α): Possess elite traits, high physical ability, and high social status.

Fated Pair: A special pair of Alpha and Omega who are instinctively and powerfully attracted to each other.
Suppressants: Medication used to suppress an Omega's heat.
Omegas suffer extreme stress if a bond is severed. However, since it is believed that once bonded, they will not look at other Alphas or Omegas, very few Omegas ever have their bond broken. Consequently, few people know what happens to an Omega after a bond is severed (though medical professionals are aware).
~ Synopsis ~
Misaki had a lover and Alpha he was bonded to. They had even promised to marry.
But then his Alpha's fated pair appeared, and Misaki was discarded. So very easily.
The stress of the severed bond made Misaki's heat cycles unstable, leading to repeated hospitalizations. His condition worsened daily, eventually forcing long-term inpatient care.
The hospital where he was originally staying could no longer handle his case, so he was transferred to a large general hospital in the city. By then, Misaki's body was heavily medicated to suppress the heat, and his liver and other organs were beginning to fail.
Six Months Left to Live
The only way to save Misaki is to form a new bond and stabilize his heat cycle, but Misaki seemed to have no will to do so.
