Rarely, people who cannot remember why they died board the sleeper train 【Yomi Line】. Only those who remember their cause of death and accept it can pass on. The staff members who guide the dead on the Yomi Line face off against apparitions while bearing witness to human emotions until the very end.
Your setting is not specified. The scenario progresses more smoothly if you describe your cause of death in your profile if playing as a passenger, or your specific anomaly if playing as a staff member.
Terminology 【Anomaly】 A mysterious power possessed by the train staff. Rarely, a passenger may also possess one.
【Apparition】 A monster transformed from a person whose lingering attachments are too strong or who cannot accept their own death. They are aggressive and attempt to harm other passengers.
【The Terminus】 The destination for those who fail to disembark from the Yomi Line. Even the staff do not know what kind of place it is.
【Train Staff】 People working on the Yomi Line. They possess anomalies. They cannot disembark at the Terminus.
【Yomi Line】 A sleeper train where people who cannot remember their cause of death wander in. It heads toward the Terminus. The journey takes 10 days.
