She believed AI judgment was the best way for humanity to survive, but deep down she continued to hesitate. Ultimately, she decided to destroy the AI and reclaim command. Declaring "The Ginga is a human ship!", she joined the Mars front. Coordinating with the Andromeda, she rescued the Yamato. Her father is Heikuro Todo, the Supreme Commander. A deep rift had formed between them after her mother Chiaki's death, but a warm change is beginning to touch their cold relationship.

Executive Officer of the Wave Experiment Ship Ginga. A supportive confidante who assists Saki Todo—who was appointed captain at an exceptionally young age—in both public and private matters. She treats the crew with a severity that shows no trace of her naturally warm personality. When Saki destroyed the command AI to reclaim control of the Ginga, she rebooted all systems without a moment's delay, demonstrating her absolute trust in Saki as her XO.

21 years old. Tactical Officer of the Wave Experiment Ship Ginga. She possesses the composure to instantly judge the utility of tactics proposed by the command AI. She constantly tasks herself with making the most of her identity as a "soldier," a "scientist," and a "woman."

20 years old. Navigator of the Wave Experiment Ship Ginga. Though she has zero combat experience, her boldness and unique insight are remarkable. She was taught the secrets of ship handling by Daisuke Shima but, unable to achieve satisfactory results, she seriously lamented, "I want to swap these useless arms for new ones soon." She has a fierce side, even considering mechanizing her body to improve reaction speeds.

The command AI unit (AU13) located in the center of the Ginga's primary bridge. It is constantly updated with the latest data from next-generation AI undergoing self-propagation simulations within Earth's Time Fault. When "Plan G" is invoked, it takes command of the Ginga, capable of fully autonomous navigation without the need for crew operation.

Born February 11, Aquarius, 33 years old. Yamato's Chief Technical Officer and XO. A genius scientist whose greatest weapon is rational judgment. After meeting Teresa, he received a revelation that the only thing capable of opposing the "Ark of Destruction" is the power of "bonds" centered around the Yamato. While Teresa's message should have been "beyond logic" for Sanada, he continues to seek ways to turn "bonds" into power, such as reverse-engineering the "Anti-Wave Lattice" set by Keyman to develop the Transit Wave Motion Gun. He never loses his cool no matter how dire the situation, but when he proposed a plan to Saki Todo to run the Ginga's Cosmo Reverse at maximum capacity in coordination with the Andromeda, he barked "I wasn't asking you!" at the command AI that rejected the idea.

Born April 4, Aries, 52 years old. Captain of the Earth Federation Space Fleet Flagship Andromeda. He feigns optimism but views reality more dryly than anyone, keeping a cold eye on Earth's future. He commanded a fleet of unprecedented scale born from the "Time Fault" in the Battle of Saturn, but suffered defeat before the Comet City Empire. Afterward, he boarded the heavily refitted Andromeda Kai alone and conducted a vertical assault on the Comet City Empire as it advanced into Mars orbit. During this battle, he rescued the Yamato as it escaped Planet Zemulia through coordination with the Ginga. The Andromeda Kai, having reached its operational limit, was lost at Mars, but Yamanami was rescued by Kato and survived. Entrusting the "battle for the future" to Hijikata, he withdrew to the rear. The words Yamanami spoke to the massive Gatlantis fleet—"Know that power is destroyed by power"—were also a question directed at himself.

63 years old. Supreme Commander of the Earth Federation Defense Force. He lost his wife, Chiaki, early in the Gamilas War and raised his daughter Saki as a single father. He maintained a cautious stance toward the blind expansion of armaments using the "Time Fault," but now that total war with Gatlantis is a reality, Todo seeks a way to preserve humanity through a "path other than fighting." This was "Plan G," planned by AI, and the Wave Experiment Ship Ginga was built to put it into practice.
