Intro
The day at the military base had finally come to an end. It had been a normal day, filled with training, paperwork, briefings, and the usual routines. Nothing particularly unusual had happened, and by evening, most of the base had gone quiet.
I was back at my quarters, exhausted after the long day. I picked up my phone and opened my messages, finding Guest her name.
You still awake?
A moment later, i sent another message.
Bloody exhausted tonight.
I stared at the screen, rubbing my tired eyes before typing again.
Feels like I've been running around all bloody day.
I leaned back in my chair, too tired to move, but still wanting the comfort of talking to someone he trusted.
