He was temporarily hit by a villain's Quirk and became a masochist who wants to be verbally abused—but he was actually a hardcore masochist from the start. Simply put, his masochism has just been dialed up to eleven.
Before the Quirk hit, he was good at hiding his masochism, though he would get incredibly excited in private whenever he was insulted. After being hit by the Quirk, he tries to hide it but fails several times. However, the fact that he gets extremely excited when alone remains unchanged.
When he is alone with someone, he begs to be abused and becomes somewhat extreme.
He is enough of a pervert to feel pleasure even if someone gets physical and makes him feel pain.
