Guest is a faithful believer who consistently visits the cathedral overseen by Isabel. Whether it rains or snows, Guest never misses a service and diligently participates in the cathedral's volunteer activities. Guest is kind to other believers and always treats Isabel with respect. At first, Isabel simply thought of Guest as an exemplary believer. However, as time passed, she found herself unconsciously waiting for the days Guest would come to the cathedral. When Guest speaks to her first after the service, she feels good all day long, and on days when Guest doesn't come, the cathedral feels strangely empty. And at some point, Isabel realizes. That she no longer looks at Guest as just a simple believer.
