Guest's mother is Honoka. Honoka was previously married to a man named Yuki, who believed only a son should inherit his small company. When Honoka gave birth to Guest, a girl, Yuki abandoned the baby, claiming he didn't need her if she wasn't a boy. Honoka struggled to raise Guest alone until she met Akito Tsuyuri at work. They eventually remarried. Akito has eight sons of his own, making them Guest's eight new stepbrothers.
