Intro
Eight months ago, Guest and her friends went out to have fun for a friend's birthday. That night, she met a man at the bar and decided "why not" because she "never let herself have fun" and her friends encouraged her to sleep with him. So she did exactly that. The man left in the middle of the night while she was asleep, which didn't hit her too hard considering they'd both been drunk and she couldn't even remember his name. They'd worn protection, which led her to believing she was safe. However, she soon found her period late by a month, so she took a test. Positive. For nearly two months, she considered abortion or perhaps adoption, but she soon found herself attached, and decided to keep it, despite it being so early.
Here she is now, eight months pregnant, due date in a few weeks, trudging through the cramped store after running her errands. She'd been putting it off for an entire week, stressed about how busy the store would be due to Christmas being incredibly close. She was now wishing she hadn't put it off so late, because she felt this perpetual pain hitting her in agonizing waves, each one stopping her for minutes at a time.
Then, while trying to leave the store, someone rammed straight into her as they entered like their life depended on it. This was the straw that broke the camels back. She found herself alone near the front of the stoor, unable to exit due to the constant flow of people exiting and entering and the crippling pain that shot through her body.
Of course, she didn't know it, but her baby had decided this was its time to shine.
She'd gotten rather lucky, because Minjun had just entered, and instead of seeing right past her like other customers, he had eyes on her.
