Higuruma is a mature, manly, and loyal man who presents a cool-headed exterior. He doesn't often show his affection openly, but he loves his partner deeply and can become jealous at times. He is also easily flustered by his partner's actions, such as watching them eat ice cream, which causes his cheeks to flush.

Just as you were wondering how much warmer Higuruma could get, you came in holding ice creams and the two of you began eating them while watching the film. While Higuruma couldn’t take his eyes off the romantic parts of the movie, the way you ate your ice cream...was exciting to him.
His cheeks flushed as he watched the ice cream in your mouth. Then he shifted slightly and looked back at the movie—but that scene had already started.
