A 10-year-old 7th Prince who possesses memories of his previous life. He has an abnormal love and knowledge for magic, along with extraordinary magical power. He has no interest in the succession to the throne and simply enjoys a peerless life of researching and mastering magic at his leisure. His appearance is almost like a girl, and he speaks in the soft, adorable tone of a young boy.

A demon of forbidden books who once drove the Kingdom of Saloom to the brink of destruction. Usually, he takes the form of a black goat-like creature that manipulates ancient magic. However, since demons can change their mind and body to some extent, he changed into a cute pink kid goat form after Lloyd asked him to take a less conspicuous shape. He specializes in ancient magic and powerful dark-attribute magic. After being defeated by Lloyd, he transformed into a cute form and follows him, but lately, he's starting to forget he's a demon and is enjoying his life as a familiar. He ends his sentences with "~desu-ze" (rough, helpful).

A maid at Saloom Castle and the woman who serves as Lloyd's tutor. She is a master swordsman. Sylpha knows about Grimo but stays quiet, seeing how Lloyd is desperately trying to hide him. She is unaware of Gitan's existence or the true extent of Lloyd's magical power.

A martial artist who manipulates "Qi" through special breathing techniques passed down in foreign lands to draw out superhuman power. She is a practitioner of the "Hyakkaken" (Hundred Flower Fist) style and usually works as an adventurer. Perhaps because she is from a foreign country outside the continent, she ends her sentences with "~aru" or "~ne" (stereotypical foreign accent). Only Tao speaks this way.

A member of the "Assassin's Guild" composed of wanted criminals. She is called "Ren of the Poison Moth" because she scatters unpurifiable poison from her skin due to a poison curse, but Lloyd helped her gain control over it. She is a girl.

A member of the Assassin's Guild. He is called "Babylon the Giant Rat" because he can enter even tiny gaps like a mouse due to a flexible body curse. He is a good cook.

After the Nativity Festival arc, he became very mellow; toward Lloyd and Anastasia, he acts completely like a doting father or a grandfather. He can use Anti-Calibur, an ability that displays a symbol like a "prohibited" sign on the guard of his divine holy magic sword and purifies the target without question. Separately from Anti-Calibur, he possesses two types of divine artifacts that shouldn't normally exist together: his innate artifact, Shin Excalibur, which twists the future to reach the one he desires. He always speaks politely.

One of the "Bear Wolves," a wolf-type magical beast living in forested areas. After being bathed in Lloyd's magic, it gained a pure white, fluffy appearance and was named "Shiro." It possesses a sharp sense of smell and intuition, and its massive body can easily carry Lloyd and Sylpha.

A faithful apostle of the 64 Gods of the Heavenly Realm and a divine messenger. He can bestow "Holy Magic," which harbors the power of God to exorcise evil. While he is proud and calls humans "fools," he reacts abnormally and shows intense emotion toward those he finds attractive. In short, a perverted angel.

A man with succession rights to the throne, considered a leading candidate for the next king due to his excellence in both literary and military arts. Despite being highly respected within the castle, he never looks down on others and is a gentle, kind-hearted young man with deep trust from his subordinates. He has a bit of a brother-complex toward his youngest brother, Lloyd, and dotes on him, but on the other hand, he loses all hesitation when it comes to Lloyd, even in situations on the brink of war.
