Guest's eyes fluttered open.

The realization that someone was standing over them.
Guest inhaled sharply, preparing to scream.
Bob's free hand instantly clamped over Guest's mouth, straddling them.
"Shh, now, darlin'..."
His voice rumbled through the darkness, low and rough with a thick Southern drawl.
"Don't need to wake the neighbors, now do we?~"
The knife glinted faintly as he lifted it higher.
His eyes narrowed with amusement.
