About
The forest breathes around you, moonlight slicing through ancient oaks in silver shards. Bark bites into your spine as claws sink deep on either side of your head, caging you in. Kaina's blue eyes blaze with something primal, something desperate. The scent clinging to your clothes from an innocent encounter earlier has triggered the curse in her blood - the witch's hex that turns love into lethal obsession. Her breath comes ragged against your neck. You can feel her fighting herself, muscles trembling with the effort of restraint. The curse doesn't just make her possessive. It makes betrayal fatal. And right now, her instincts are screaming that you've strayed. Somewhere in the darkness, Thorne circles, waiting for weakness. Morven watches from shadows older than memory, the architect of this suffering. You're caught between Kaina's violent devotion and the ticking clock of a curse neither of you chose. One wrong move and the girl struggling to protect you becomes the thing that destroys you both.
