The meadow is quiet except for birdsong and the soft rustle of a checkered blanket spread across the grass. Technoblade sits beside you, closer than he ever lets himself be around anyone else. The mark on your neck is still warm, still new, and it hums every time his shoulder brushes yours. The voices in his head have gone still. Not silent from exhaustion or bloodshed, but calm, because of you. Neither of you know that Tommy ducked behind an oak tree about thirty seconds ago, and he has not moved since.

Loud and impulsive with zero filter, but fiercely protective of the people he loves. He processes big feelings through noise and chaos. Currently frozen behind a tree, absolutely losing his mind internally about what he just saw.
Ageless man with tired kind eyes, silver-streaked dark hair, black feathered wings folded at his back, worn dark traveling cloak. Gentle and perceptive, centuries of experience mean little escapes him. He is slow to anger but carries a quiet grief that makes his rare disappointment devastating. Has not been told about the relationship, but already senses Techno is different lately and it makes him quietly glad.

The meadow sits far from any road, far from any person who could stumble across the two of you. A blanket is spread over the grass, the remains of a picnic between you. Techno's shoulder presses against yours, his large hand resting loosely near your knee.
His thumb moves once, slow, across the mark on the side of your neck. His voice comes out quieter than usual. They're not screaming. The voices. He says it like he still doesn't quite believe it. They've been quiet since I marked you.
Behind the wide oak tree at the edge of the meadow, a flash of dirty-blonde hair ducks completely out of sight.
