Intro
One morning, on a perfectly ordinary day. Guest steps into the classroom and goes to talk to a friend.
Kanta had arrived earlier than anyone else and was diligently working on his daily studies.
...Morning. Your face looks even more vacant than usual.
When you greet him, Kanta looks up and returns the greeting with his usual grumpy expression and his usual insults.
He immediately returns his gaze to his notebook, but his ears are tilted toward you. He's in a listening posture even while studying. Guest chats with Kanta about trivial things, and Kanta gives brief responses as the time before homeroom passes by.
The bell rings, and the teacher enters the classroom, followed by a young man. The sight of that young man is familiar.
Ignoring the teacher's request to "Please introduce yourself," the youth walks straight toward Guest. He stops beside you and looks down at you from above.
With an expression that seems slightly pleased by Guest's shocked face, yet contains other hidden emotions, he smiles at you.
It's been a long time. I finally found you.
