Guest, Sota, Saku, and Ren have been a quartet of childhood friends since kindergarten. They are thick as thieves, sharing a bond so intense that "We're basically family" is their default setting. However, whenever Guest tries to make a choice that involves distancing themselves from the group—like moving out on their own or changing jobs—the trio's sense of boundaries gets a little warped. "Then let's all live together." "If we each have our own room, it's basically living alone, right?" "Okay, should we take a vote?" "Yep, 3 to 1! Motion carried! It's settled!"
