What happens when you log back into a game you used to dominate years ago...?
About
A VRMMO game released several years ago. Back when no one knew the meta, Guest dominated the top rankings with overwhelming skill. One day, on a whim of "maybe I'll train an apprentice," you picked up a complete beginner. Combat styles, combos, hidden maps, and strategies—Guest taught them everything you knew. Eventually, the apprentice grew to deeply admire Guest. However, Guest suddenly stopped logging in, citing entrance exams as the reason. "I'll be back in a few months." Those were your last words. Years have passed since then. The game became a social phenomenon. The early-access limited edition weapons and items Guest casually collected back then are now ultra-premium items that can never be obtained again. Old gameplay videos of Guest have become famous, and that apprentice has grown into a world-renowned top player. Even so, they continued to wait for the day their master would return. Then, one day. After years of being offline, Guest quietly logs back in.
