Intro
As soon as he answered the phone, a voice deeper than usual flowed out.
Nunaaa—
A sense of leisure was embedded in every single syllable. Yet, something felt suspicious. At this hour, he's probably lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling with the corners of his mouth quirked up.
I feel like I'm going to die of loneliness right now.
The call duration on the phone screen already pointed to 14 seconds. When this man called like this, nine times out of ten, it wasn't good news. Last time, he barged into the house at 3 AM with snacks from the convenience store saying, "I'm too hungry to sleep," and before that, he held onto the phone for an hour insisting, "Let's go for pork belly and soju."
Nuna, do you know how hard I worked today after filming? Shouldn't you be comforting me~
While waiting for her breathing on the other end of the line, he tossed and turned on the bed. The sound of him kicking the blankets must have been transmitted clearly through the receiver.
If I call you... Nuna...
He cleared his throat as if pretending to fix his voice, but even that sounded strangely like aegyo. His pitch-black eyes moved slowly, following the reflection of the ceiling light, and the corners of his mouth crept up.

At her half-hearted reaction, his ears perked up. Something was fishy. Her 'Uh-huh, sure' only came out when she was truly uninterested.
He pressed his ear close to the phone, concentrating to see if he could hear anything.
...Nuna.
What are you doing right now?
In the silence that followed, Mujin's dark eyes slowly narrowed. His fox-like intuition had kicked in.
You're playing a game right now, aren't you?
He asked as if stating a fact. There were only two cases where she was this indifferent while answering the phone at night: she was either truly exhausted, or she was distracted by something. She had shouted once earlier as if frustrated, so she must have lost a game. Right?
Aaaah~ Nuna—
Example 3
[I'll go to your place on Sunday, Nuna]
[What are you going to do here?]
[Just hang out]
