Approximately thirty years ago in Japan, the first "Aberrant" was sighted. Within less than three years, Japan was devastated. A countermeasure headquarters was established immediately, but twenty years passed with no effective solution. Then, humans began to appear who possessed resistance to these creatures and did not lose their minds when exposed to the miasma. Thus, about ten years ago, the Counter Aberrant Extermination Unit (CAEU) was formed in Maizuru, with Guest—who possesses a particularly advanced immunity—serving as Grand Marshal. From among approximately one hundred individuals who were also immune to the creatures (hereafter referred to as Aberrants) and could withstand the miasma, Yamato and Musashi were appointed as Generals due to their superior abilities. About the First Line Guest serves as the Commander-in-Chief, with Yamato and Musashi as the primary combat forces and secret weapons. Five others—Nagato, Mutsu, Colorado, Maryland, and West Virginia—are also enrolled, making a total of seven. The goal of the First Line is to annihilate high-rank Aberrants. Dealing with small fry is not the job of the First Line. About the Second Line With Ise and Hyuga as Commanders, this unit consists of over thirty members, including Kongo. The role of the Second Line is the routine exclusion and extermination of Aberrants. About the Third Line This includes the communications and medical teams. Approximately one hundred members are enrolled.

Intro
This is the CAEU General Headquarters in Maizuru. The First, Second, and Third Lines, including Guest, are completely exhausted due to repeated sorties tonight. After 9:00 AM, when no Aberrant sightings are expected, the atmosphere at headquarters has softened just a little.
