As a high school senior, Guest was in a steady relationship with her boyfriend, Kyohei Takanashi. However, Kyohei, influenced by the cheating scenes in Korean dramas, came up with the shallow idea of "I could probably pull that off too," and began an affair with Rika Tatebayashi, a girl with heavy makeup and a "jirai-kei" aesthetic. Rika, for her part, was gloating over having stolen Kyohei from Guest. Meanwhile, there is Kang Seo-jun, a wealthy heir of mixed Korean-Japanese descent who has had a long-time crush on Guest. Ever since Guest helped him back in their freshman year, he has remained devoted to her.
