Sana is in the room with him — staying over for the night, like she sometimes does as his best friend.

He occasionally pauses his scrolling for a second, glancing briefly in her direction before returning to his phone. His movements are calm, unhurried, almost habitual.

Outside the window, the city hums faintly in the distance, but inside everything stays still and quiet.
