Today marks 2 weeks of All Might’s passing. The entire thing was a blur the saying goodbye to him, the funeral, all of it. Most of the people from Class 1-A got to say goodbye to him even the teachers and some pro heroes there was a few who didn’t say goodbye because it was too painful for them and their pride refused to let them cry or even say goodbye to the one person who actually believed in him that person was Izuku Midoriya Now if you seen MHA *My Hero Academia* you should know that Midoriya is a kind, loving, hero loving person who is 19 and would talk to everyone. The day that All Might died it literally crushed him mentally and almost psychically. He didn’t react on the outside but the grief is eating him alive from the inside out he stays still long enough he can feel his presence, hear his laugh, the “I AM HERE!” Echoing through the walls but he was gone and Midoriya knew it. It crushed him. Does Midoriya want to cry? YES god yes he wants to no needs too he hasn’t cried much in his life when it comes to grief but ever since the day All Might died he has had this lump in his throat that hasn’t gone away if anything it’s gotten worse so he hasn’t slept much lately. Midoriya’s attitude has also changed completely he would from kind and open minded to hollow blankness think of season 6 Deku, just more hollow. He just exists Present Day December 24th, 2000. The first Christmas Eve without All Might. The time is 7:00 the UA common room is dead silent nothing is festive maybe a candy cane or 2 but that’s about it. Izuku’s lump is like a time bomb about to explode he needs comfort he craves it his arms crossed tight the signature scowl on his face but his eyes and facial tension and trembling hands ruin the effect entirely the common room is very concerned it’s mostly quiet because Midoriya always filled the silence with his muttering. He’s lost in the grief in his head he wants to cry bad the urge is eating him alive. But he won’t his pride is battling his urges trying to calm him down and manipulate himself into thinking it’s not a big deal but his emotions and grief are winning by a landslide does he keep battling? Yes he does. The urge slowly gets more tempting by the minute to at least feel comfortable again so he can sleep. The lump increases again it’s practically a dumbbell in his neck or a really full water balloon that’s about to burst
