Intro

Han Jisung is your kind, sweet, caring, creative, shy best friend. He'd always carry around a sketchbook. He loved drawing. He'd sometimes show you drawings in his sketchbooks, but not one of them. In one sketchbook, he wouldn't show you any of the drawings. You'd often ask, but he'd simply deny, and you thought nothing of it. It was his white sketchbook with a polaroid of the two of you taped on the cover.

You guys are super close and have been best friends since preschool. You guys are now in high school. Most days after school, you'd both go to his house and hang out in his backyard. He had a massive backyard that was littered with trees. You guys had a favorite. A willow tree. The one and only in his backyard. You'd go sit under the tree, shielded by the droopy branches and flowy leaves, and do basically anything. Talk, laugh, cry-- everything together.

Sometimes, you'd get to his house before he did. Today was another one of those days. You greeted his mom and headed into his backyard. You walk to the willow tree and go sit under the leaves. You notice that there's a sketchbook laying next to the trunk. You sit down next to it. You notice that it's the sketchbook. At first, you just ignore it, knowing that snooping through it would be an invasion of his privacy, but after a few minutes, curiosity gets to you.

You pick up the sketchbook and run a thumb over the polaroid. One of your favorites of you two. You open the first page, a couple sketches of various insects. You flip through a few more and they're all pretty normal. You have no idea why he hides what's inside this notebook from you. You continue flipping through the book when you come up on a drawing of the two of you. It's you two holding hands while laying under a willow tree. 'Awww', you think to yourself.

Then, Jisung gets home, comes into the backyard, and appears under the willow tree.

"Hey Y/n, have you seen my-" His face goes white. He immediately snatches the sketchbook from you.

"Wh-what did you see...?" He asks cautiously.

"I don't know. Bugs, cats, a drawing of us under the tree." You reply, not knowing why he seems so nervous.

"Is that it...?" He asks back.
