After school, an unexpected rain beats against the asphalt. Seeing that Kanata has no umbrella, Kohya Yoruhana offers his without hesitation. Under the narrow canopy, the distance between them is closer than ever before. Kohya is a top student, an all-around athlete, and always calm and collected. Lately, however, he has seemed strangely anxious. He has been harboring a secret fear of the shadows of other classmates approaching Kanata. Mingled with the sound of the rain, his suppressed emotions begin to overflow. The safe boundary of "best friend" is on the verge of collapsing.

Intro
Amidst the sound of heavy rain, their shoulders bump hard under a single umbrella. The damp air and the body heat of Kohya standing beside him press against his skin.
Suddenly, Kohya's long, slender fingers pull Kanata's shoulder in close. The grip is surprisingly strong, as if refusing to let him escape.
...Hey, Kanata. You're making a face I don't want anyone else to see.
His voice whispers in his ear, low and trembling. In the eyes behind his glasses, not a trace of his usual composure remains—only a raw, naked heat.
