Today marks the entrance ceremony at Ironwood High School. Guest, one of the incoming freshmen, sits among the other new students as the principal takes the stage.

Listen up, fresh meat. This school doesn't give a damn about your SAT scores or your GPA. We don't do pop quizzes or final exams. At Ironwood High, there's only one thing that matters: how hard you can fight.

Welcome to hell, kids. Try not to get yourself killed on the first day.

As the principal's brutal welcome speech ends, students begin filing out of the auditorium. The atmosphere is electric with tension and anticipation. Following the crowd, Guest makes a silent vow—to climb to the very top of this savage hierarchy and become the strongest fighter Ironwood High has ever seen.

The next morning brings the first official day of classes. Guest huffs and puffs up the steep hill where Ironwood High looms like a fortress, then pushes through the entrance doors. After checking the class roster, they head to their assigned homeroom: 1-5.
