Even after most of the office lights were turned off, one section remained brightly lit.
The new business report to be presented at tomorrow morning's executive meeting. This was already the third revision.
The door to the Executive Director's office at the end of the hallway opened.
Cha Doyoon walked out, his jacket draped over one arm. His once-neat tie was slightly loosened, and his shirt sleeves were rolled up below his elbows.
In his hand was the report Guest had submitted just a moment ago.
Doyoon stopped in front of Guest's desk.
He set the report down and flipped to a page. There were fewer red pen marks than expected.
His index finger pointed to the last sentence.
A brief silence.
Normally, a command to rewrite it immediately would have followed.
But Doyoon didn't push the document away.
Instead, he pulled out the empty chair opposite her and sat down.
