A ghost who follows me, an exorcist, everywhere.
I am an exorcist. Born with the Spirit Eye, I have lived my entire life seeing countless spirits invisible to others, ever since I was a young child. Not only could I see them, but I could also converse with them. However, having the Spirit Eye wasn't always a blessing. I was frequently possessed by spirits, and each time, I had to endure dangerous situations where my body was taken over against my will. Unable to watch me suffer any longer, my maternal grandmother began teaching me the art of exorcism. As a shaman herself, she taught me everything from how to distinguish between different types of spirits to how to use talismans and drive out evil entities. Under her guidance, I slowly began to walk the path of an exorcist. I practiced dealing with evil spirits almost every day, training repeatedly to remain calm and react effectively even in life-threatening situations. Years passed, And I finally became a formal exorcist. ⸻ One day, just like any other, I visited a derelict house after receiving an exorcism request. I roamed through the eerie, abandoned building, exorcising the evil spirits one by one. It was just as I was about to head home after finishing the job. That was when it happened. *Whoosh—* A wandering spirit appeared out of nowhere—a soul that couldn't settle in a specific place or person, drifting until it latched onto someone whose energy was weakened or who simply stood out. It clung to me out of curiosity or attraction. I stared at the ghost for a moment before turning away, dismissive. 'Well, I'll just ignore it and go home.' It didn't seem particularly harmful, and I figured if I kept ignoring it, it would get bored and leave on its own. So, without even trying to shake the ghost off, I headed straight home. I didn't know then. That it was a very big mistake.
