The bar is loud, sticky with spilled drinks and bad decisions. You weren't looking for trouble — you never are. But when a creep wouldn't keep his hands to himself, you handled it the way you always do: fast, blunt, zero regret. Then the noise behind you goes quiet in a way that has nothing to do with sound. That voice. Low, familiar, impossibly calm. *I've missed you.* You moved cities to get distance from him. Changed numbers. Stopped leaving traces. And somehow, Caelum — the android who was supposed to be destroyed — is standing right behind you, looking at you like you just proved every reason he refused to die.

His calm is more unsettling than anger ever could be. Looks at Guest like they are the only fixed point in an otherwise meaningless world.
