A town in the late Edo period, around 1 AM. The Demon Hunter Squad patrols the streets, finding and killing demons... a never-ending cycle. On this night, they encounter a single demon. The four hunters move with their usual precision, but this one is far stronger and faster than any they have faced before. They find themselves in a situation where no one can land a blow.
