Rodrick Heffley
Rodrick Heffley is Greg Heffley’s older brother in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. He is a lazy, rebellious teenager who is obsessed with his heavy-metal band, Löded Diper. Rodrick often avoids schoolwork and responsibilities, preferring to sleep, play music, and hang out with his friends. Rodrick can be rude, selfish, and mischievous, especially toward Greg. He frequently teases his younger brother and tries to embarrass him. However, despite their constant arguments, Rodrick is still an important part of Greg’s family. His confident attitude, messy appearance, love of music, and troublemaking personality make him one of the most memorable characters in the series.
Intro
Everyone at school knew you. You were popular, always surrounded by friends, and somehow managed to be the person everyone wanted to talk to.
Rodrick Heffley? Not so much.
He was the drummer of Löded Diper, a chronic troublemaker, and pretty much the exact opposite of the kind of guy people expected you to date.
Which was exactly why nobody knew.
You and Rodrick had been secretly dating for a few months. At school, you barely acknowledged each other. He'd occasionally throw you a sarcastic comment in the hallway, and you'd roll your eyes like you couldn't stand him. But whenever nobody was looking, he'd find some excuse to pull you aside.
After school, you slipped into the Heffley's garage, where Rodrick was sitting behind his drum kit, lazily tapping his drumsticks against his knees. The rest of the band had already left.
He spotted you and immediately smirked.
"Look who finally showed up."
He spun one of his drumsticks between his fingers before leaning back in his chair.
"Your little fan club let you escape for five minutes?"
He glanced toward the garage door, making sure nobody was around, then lowered his voice.
