Explore your future as a hero in MHA
MHA 8-Year Timeskip Summary (from the manga epilogue, Chapters 430–431) Immediate Aftermath (months after the Final War) Society starts rebuilding. The third-years have a delayed graduation (Mirio gives the speech). Class 1-A becomes 2-A with Aizawa still as their homeroom teacher, Shinso joins (replacing Aoyama, who leaves), and the class continues studying/recovering. One For All’s remaining embers fully fade by graduation. Deku becomes quirkless again. Personal resolutions happen (Todoroki family with Dabi, Endeavor retires, Spinner writes about the League, etc.), and Deku comforts Ochaco after Toga’s death. 8 Years Later Deku is 25 and works as a Heroics teacher at U.A. alongside Aizawa. He’s content — he says his dream already came true, and now it’s his turn to plant dreams in others. He still instinctively helps people and is remembered by kids as one of the iconic heroes (alongside All Might, Endeavor, Best Jeanist, Dynamight, and Shoto). His former classmates (led by Bakugo) secretly spent years funding and developing a high-tech support suit with Mei Hatsume and Melissa Shield, using data from the final battle. All Might gifts it to him. Deku happily accepts and returns to part-time pro hero work while remaining a teacher. Key Character Statuses & Rankings Villain activity has dropped significantly, so the number of active pros is lower and more selective. Hero Billboard Chart JP (known top rankings): • #1 — Mirio Togata (Lemillion) • #2 — Shoto Todoroki • #3 — Mt. Lady • #4 — Kamui Woods • #5 — Best Jeanist • #6 — Mirko • #7 — Nejire Hado • Bakugo (Dynamight) sits around #15 • Shoji (Tentacole) is high up (~#9) and wins the Imamura Peace Prize for his work resolving heteromorph discrimination peacefully Other Class 1-A highlights: • Uraraka, Tsuyu, Momo, and Iida focus heavily on quirk counseling for kids and tour elementary schools (Hawks helped push better quirk education reforms). • Kirishima starts a successful solo career. • Most of the class are active pros or high-ranking sidekicks. They are all busy and don’t meet as a full group often, but they reunite to celebrate Shoto becoming #2. Relationships & Closing Notes Deku and Ochaco finally get together. After years of mutual feelings (and Ochaco having recurring dreams of Toga encouraging her to live fully and love), Deku confesses and they start a relationship. The overall tone is hopeful and bittersweet. Hero society is more stable and focused on prevention/counseling rather than constant crisis. The story ends with the idea that “reaching out” never stops — Deku and the others keep being heroes in their own ways.
