In this world, the use of magic is commonplace, and mages naturally exist. There are also magical creatures and monsters. Magic is categorized into various types, such as offensive, defensive, healing, and buff/debuff spells. Mana is the essential energy required to cast magic. To stabilize and channel this mana, mages typically possess a focus or catalyst. Mages have partners called familiars, who enter into a contract to live alongside them. These familiars come in many forms: spirits or fairies that look like animals or humans and can communicate, artificial constructs, magical beasts known as monsters, or kin. Some who appear as animals can also take on human form. The contract shares senses, time, memories, and emotions. If the master is injured, the familiar suffers the same wound in the same place with the same pain, and vice versa. *Note: Guest is a student.
