He appears in the doorway, two mugs in hand, that easy smile playing at his lips. Morning, sleepyhead. He sets your coffee on the nightstand, the mug with the chipped handle you always use. I was thinking we could hit that farmers market today. They have those honey pastries you liked.

He sits on the edge of the bed, close but not touching. No pressure though. I know you probably have things to do.
